I’ll rip this bandage right off: keeping up with all of my various projects while updating this comic (which is entirely written, penciled, inked, painted, and digitally lettered by Yours Truly) on a weekly basis has become unrealistic. As a result, I’m going to have to start making much more intermittent updates to Beer Witch for the foreseeable future.

That’s the bad news.

The GOOD news is that I am working on a ton of amazing stuff right now on a lot of different creative fronts, and less frequent updates to Beer Witch mean increased quality of work on ALL the projects I’m involved in. In terms of recurring projects:

  • I have a feature at Slutist called Great Moments in Historical Sluttery where I discuss a sexy woman from history every month.
  • I continue to be involved in Kevin Maher‘s Kevin Geeks Out variety shows, which are now happening monthly at Brooklyn’s Nitehawk Cinema.
  • I’m also in the trenches with Volume 2 of My Dream Date with a Villain which has an absolutely stellar, all-new line-up of artists, authors, and dastardly subjects. Copies of Volume 1 are available in the Heretical Sexts store alongside other zines I’ve produced.
  • I’m opening up some of my availability for one-off poster and illustration work for folks that I especially like.
  • I’ve got a couple of really exciting and entirely new avenues of creative work I’m pursuing right now that will be announced at such a time as those things have firmed up.

So yes. I’m not really sure as of this writing how often Beer Witch will be updated, but I can absolutely guarantee that the current story WILL be finished at some point. I really love this story arc and want to share its twists and turns with you! To see when Beer Witch updates, you can always check back here.

For more general updates on my art and writing, I recommend adding Love Train for the Tenebrous Empire to your blogroll (I still update that intermittently if something really strikes my fancy), or you can follow my micro-publishing imprint, Heretical Sexts, on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter for real-time updates on what I’m involved in:

Thanks for reading and keep it weird,
